LOCAL EVENTS (Keweenaw Peninsula of Upper Michigan)

WRANGLING WORDS

(Every Second Saturday 1-2 p.m. at the Portage Lake District Library, Michigan Room, Houghton, MI)

December 8 • January 12 • February 9

Local writers (and those curious about writing) gather at the library to learn and play with 99 words as a literary art form. Each writer will get to read one of their stories. It’s a way to meet other writers, appreciate literary art, and learn flash fiction as a writing tool.

Free and open to all.

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Find me at Booth 19 at Home for the Holidays at the Rosza Center for the Performing Arts in Houghton, Michigan on Nov. 24 from 10a-3p. Learn more about how Carrot Ranch supports global literary art from its international headquarters on the Keweenaw.
